Several factors came into play when MEO, the biggest telecommunications provider in Portugal, decided to rethink their online presence. The brand had recently refreshed their visual library, incorporated a smaller mobile service provider and were about to implement a new communication strategy. 

After auditing their site, the client decided that the best way forward would be to redesign completely. The site should present the user with bite size information, segmenting the several audiences but also make the content editors' life easier in the back office.

Working closely with the client's development team, the layout was designed with the CMS integration in mind. Following Bootstrap's guidelines, several building blocks were created to allow the content editors maximum flexibly when creating the pages.


This project spawned from September 2013 to January 2014, including not only user experience and visual design but also handover/support to the development team and asset creation. 

The website supported an integrated campaign to promote the launch of the new life of MEO.
